Expressive Liberation Therapy
I come to this work as a Trauma Informed Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) under clinical supervision, a Perinatal Mental Health–Certified (PMH-C) clinician, a Registered Poetry Therapist in Training (PTR), EMDR and Internal Family Systems trained—but more than titles, I come as someone who honors the many ways we carry our stories.
This space is rooted in expressive arts, feminist and womanist values, and trauma-informed care. Here, we listen not only to what is spoken, but to what lives beneath words—through image, sensation, memory, and meaning.
Together, we may explore your inner landscape through Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR-informed practices, and creative expression—meeting the parts of you that have protected, endured, adapted, and survived. Not to fix them, but to understand them. Not to silence them, but to witness what they have been holding.
This work is a weaving—of reflection and creativity, of evidence-based practice and intuitive knowing. A returning. A remembering. A softening into self.
For those moving through pregnancy, postpartum, or the thresholds of the perinatal journey, this space holds you there too—with care, with reverence, with room for the full truth of your experience.
Clinical therapy services will soon be offered through the clinical arm of Feminist Jawn, Well Womanist Therapy Practice. If you feel called, you are invited to join the waitlist—to arrive when the doors open.
Expressive Therapy for Healing & Connection
Two Pathways of Care
Clinical Therapy | Well Womanist Therapy Practice
This is a formal mental health service grounded in clinical training, ethical standards, and evidence-based care.
Here, we work within a therapeutic framework that may include diagnosis (when appropriate), treatment planning, and structured approaches such as IFS, EMDR, and trauma-informed care. As an LGPC under clinical supervision, this work is guided by professional standards and accountability.
This space is designed for:
- Mental health treatment and diagnosis (when needed)
- Processing trauma within a clinical container
- Perinatal mental health support (pregnancy, postpartum, fertility, loss)
- Insurance or documentation-related needs (if applicable in the future)
This is where healing is supported through both relationship and clinical care.
Expression Beyond Words
Some experiences are difficult to convey through talk therapy alone. Through art, writing, and creative exploration, this work offers ways to express and process.
Safety, Choice, and Self-Trust
This space honors your pace, your boundaries, and your voice. You are supported in exploring your experiences in ways that feel grounded, empowering, and aligned with your needs.
Integration and Reconnection
Through reflection and creative expression, this work supports making meaning of your experiences, deepening self-understanding, and reconnecting with your sense of wholeness.
